The dictionary explains strength as being endurance, force, bravery, spirit and source of power. The Bible mentions many times about strength and songs. Now song explain in the dictionary means a call or utterance. Let’s see what the Bible says. It says in the book of Psalm 118:13 I was pushed back and about to fall, but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. This verse seems to be saying that the Lord gave him endurance, force, bravery, spirit and source of power, as well as a call or utterance. Since the beginning of time people have sang a song to the Lord. Look at Exodus 15:1 it says I will sing to the Lord, for he is highly exalted. The horse and its rider he has hurled into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

Look at Deuteronomy 6:4 it says Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all you heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Look at 1Chronicles 16:9 it says For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose heart are fully committed to him.

Now look at Nehemiah 8:10 it says Nehemiah said, Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. What a merciful God!! Look at Psalm 28:6 it says Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.

Look at Psalm 46:1 it says God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. The Bible clearly tell us to give credit to the Lord. Look at Psalms 96:6 it says Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and glory are in his sanctuary. Ascribe to the Lord, O families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; bring an offering and come into his courts. Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth. Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns.” The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.

In the book of Isaiah 35:3 it says Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, Be strong, do not fear;; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you. Now look at Isaiah 40:29 it says He gives strength to the weary and increases the power to the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 41:10 says So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Now look at Mar 12:29 it says The most important one, answered Jesus, is this Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and will all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Well said, teacher, the man replied. You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices. When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he sad to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

In the book of 1Corinthians 1:24 it says but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom , and the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength. Now look at 1Corinthians 14:26 it says What then shall say, brother? When you come together, everyone has a hymn or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.

Now look at the book of Ephesians 3:14 it says For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its nane. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love may have power, together will all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledgethat you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more that than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generation, for ever and ever Amen.

Look at Philippians 4:12 it says I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Now look at 2Thessalonians 2:16 it says May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

To conclude look at 1Peter 4:7 it says The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

The tax credit in question is the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit. Qualify for it and you may be eligible to take a credit of $1,000 for singles and $2,000 if you’re filing jointly. The credit is eligible for those that make contributions to 401ks and retirement vehicles. The amount of the credit is determined on a sliding scale based on how much you make and contribute.

You can claim the retirement savings tax credit:

1. Individual taxpayers with incomes of $25,000 or less.

2. Individual taxpayers that are head of households and make $37,500 or less.

3. Married couples filing jointly who make $50,000 or less cumulatively.

There are some very minor restrictions regarding who is eligible for the tax credit. First, you have to be older than 18. Second, you can’t be a full time student. Finally, another dependent can’t claim you as a dependent on their tax returns.

Importantly, this tax credit is in addition to other tax advantages you gain from piling money into a retirement account. With a 401k, for instance, you can pound in pre-tax earnings, which cuts down your adjusted gross income for the tax year. Once you figure out your taxes, you can then deduct another $1,000 or so for the tax credit. Put another way, saving for your retirement is a no brainer.

The federal government is practically begging you to put away money for retirement. With this tax credit, there is absolutely no reason to fail to comply.

You Can Refinance – Even With Bad Credit

So, you want to refinance, but your credit is less than perfect? Don’t worry, all isn’t lost. You have some options. You can still refinance to take advantage of the equity in your home for extra cash. You can consolidate debt, pay for home remodeling or just about anything else with the extra cash. It could be used to get you on the path to financial independence. Remember, if you’ve got bad credit now, you can reclaim a good credit rating with just a little patience and prudence. If you’re trying to be financially secure, whatever you do, don’t use the cash from the refinance for frivolous purposes such as a vacation or new boat. You can leverage the equity in your home to achieve financial freedom through a cash out refinance, even if you’ve got bad credit.

Where can you start? First, you must collect all the necessary information. Pull a copy of your credit report. You get one free each year from each of the three major credit reporting agencies. Call 1-877-322-8228 for your report. That is a central request number for all three agencies. See if there are any inaccuracies on the report. One 2004 study found that over 25% of all credit reports contained errors. These credit report errors can be things like false accounts or delinquencies (25%), listing the same debt multiple times (22%), or paid off (closed) accounts that are still listed as open on the credit report (30%). Your credit may not be as bad as you think. Some of your negative credit history may be due to these errors. If you find any inaccuracies, correct them. This may take some time, but will be worth it. You’ll improve your credit score and get a better rate on your refinance. It will take from 30 – 60 days after nay inaccuracies have been corrected for the results to be reflected on the credit report.

The other information you can see on your credit report is when any black marks on your credit occurred. Mortgage companies place more emphasis on credit problems in the last year, so it may be beneficial to wait a few months before attempting your refinance. You’ll have more success and get a lower mortgage rate if any credit problems are at least a year behind you. Make sure you’ve been paying all your bills on time, not just the big ones.

Another item lender look at is your debt to income ratio. The higher it is, the worse your mortgage interest rate will be. If there are any small accounts that you can close before you to get your refinance, close them out. You’ll improve you debt to income ratio and thus your refinance rate.

After you have done what you can to maximize your credit score, you need to find the proper lender for your refinance. There are literally thousands of different lenders that will refinance your home. Some work with consumers with bad credit, some don’t. Among those that will do bad credit refinances, some are better than others. First, get some information on current interest rates and rate movements. That way you’ll know what to expect. Look at the APR, not just the interest rate. The mortgage’s APR includes the total interest paid, including fees and other miscellaneous charges. By looking at the APR, you can determine weather or not a mortgage company is trying to hide extra fees and charges. The Federal Truth in Lending law requires mortgage companies to disclose the APR when they advertise a rate.

After you’ve got a good idea of what mortgage rates are, take a look at the mortgage firms in your area. Check up on them through the Better Business Bureau and your local chamber of commerce. If you want to use the refinance to improve your property, you should look at an FHA Title 1 home improvement loan. This sort of loan is not a true refinance, but a federally insured loan whose funds must be used to improve your property. It can be up to $25,000. Because it is federally insured, lenders are more likely to approve it, even if your credit score is a bit lower. Any lender that refinances and is approved by the federal government can typically get you one of these loans.

There are many companies that specialize in getting multiple rate quotes. In this way you can see rates from different mortgage companies all in one place. It’s kind of a one stop shop of refinancing. There are some important things to look out for when getting a bad credit refinance. Some lenders think they have you with no other place to turn and will try to add in all sorts of clauses and fees. Here are some mortgage red flags to watch out for.

Prepayment penalties. These will preclude you from paying off your loan early when your financial picture gets better. It will also prevent you from refinancing to take advantage of better interest rates. Avoid a refinance with these penalties.
High pressure sales tactics. What are they hiding? If they are giving you pressure to sign right now, just walk away. They are probably hiding something. At the very least, have the mortgage contract examined by an attorney.
If the lender is more intent on the equity in your property than if you have the ability to repay the mortgage. If the lender isn’t worried about you ability to actually repay the mortgage, that should tell you something. Either you have a very high income, or the mortgage company is salivating at the prospect of foreclosing on your home.

Hedge funds are an appropriate investment for qualified purchasers with a net worth above one million dollars and an annual income exceeding two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Purchasers are often required to sign an acknowledgement confirming their qualifications to invest in hedge funds. However, just because one is qualified to invest in a hedge fund doesn’t necessarily mean they should do so. There is a major problem with this type of investment. Oftentimes, the risk associated with the fund is misrepresented, leading to investors being misguided into skewing their qualifications.

The term “hedge fund” is a generic term used to describe many unique investments. Put simply, the phrase is derived from the purpose – hedging the risk of investing. Hedge funds provide lower long-term returns in exchange for less volatility. The form of investment is not new, but their popularity certainly is. The newfound popularity of hedge funds has left many investors wondering what they are all about.

To shed a little light on a decidedly illusive investment tool, a quick run down is necessary. A hedge fund is typically a privately organized pooled investment fund, predominately invested in publicly traded securities. They are normally created as limited partnerships, consisting of one general partner and up to one hundred limited partners. The general partner usually receives a management fee and 10-20% of the profits from the fund. The success or failure of a hedge fund is often dependant on the competency of the fund manager, since they are more aggressively managed and traded than traditional mutual funds.

It should be noted that hedge funds have a higher failure rate than traditional funds. Numerous hedge funds fail by the second or third year of operation. Also, hedge funds are less transparent than traditional funds because some hedge fund managers do not reveal the securities they hold, or the extent to which they are leveraged. Hedge funds may have a higher turnover rate and be less tax efficient than traditional funds.

Along with the aforementioned downfalls associated with hedge funds, several more negatives should be noted. The management and performance incentive fees charged by the hedge fund manager, together with the trading costs and administrative fees can quickly add up, making B share mutual funds seem like a bargain. As stated earlier, only “qualified” purchasers are eligible to invest in hedge funds, leaving many would-be investors out in the cold. And liquidity, if available, is limited to quarterly release, and even then, investors are left at the mercy of the hedge fund manager.

The bottom line is, when dealing with hedge funds, get educated about your investment before jumping in. Discuss the option, both pros and cons, with your dealer, and know what you are getting into.

2. Your business takes a lot of planning. The 6 months before you start your business and the 6 months after the start really requires a great deal of organizing and planning. Plan what your business will look like, how it will operate, where your market is and what you should sell at what price. That should be in your business plan – you DO have a business plan right? As you start your business, revisit your plans and update them as necessary.

3. Become disciplined. Plan out your work day and produce a regular “To Do” list that you keep updated. Make sure that your plans are reflected in your work schedule. Ensure that you put in regular hours and that your “office” is manned when people want to contact you. Don’t procrastinate, do things when they need to be done.

4. Learn from others. Look at what other company owners do and work out your business strategy along these lines.

5. Become self sufficient. You won’t have the support of your work colleagues so build your own network.

6. Be professional. In your dealings with your customers, suppliers, staff and professional support team.

7. Establish your office. Ensure that you have your own office – home or away – where all your business tools and information are to hand. Explain to friends, family and children that this is where you work.

8. Persevere – if you do it right it will get better. Keep motivated by setting your own personal goals. Overcome temporary set backs and remember that the potential rewards will make it all worth well.
